Producer ShooterKhumz Meets Priddy Ugly At The Summit Of His Catalogue

In season 1 – episode 2, Recycle sessions producer ShooterKhumz teamed up with artist Priddy Ugly to recycle a hit song from his most recent EP titled ‘G.O.A.T’. We caught up with Shooter after the live performance of this new rendition to get his thoughts on the final product.

“When recycling a song that’s as big as ‘Every Mountain Got A Peak’, you definitely feel the pressure. So for this one, I really had to make sure to deliver something that would do the song justice. I think we hit the mark!”

“It’s always a great experience working with someone as professional as Priddy because the majority of the time you find yourself on the same page which makes the creative process fun and organic.”

“Priddy is an incredible wordsmith! Choosing my favourite bar from this song almost feels impossible, but I would have to say “Not a mountain out of reach”. It’s inspirational.”

Recycle Sessions Producer ShooterKhumz Reacts To the lordkez’s Live Performance

Having stripped down lordkez’s song ‘Disgusting’ to a soothing acoustic ballad in their studio session, award-winning producer ShooterKhumz was left anticipating the live performance. We caught up with him to see how he felt after watching it.

“I really like what she did with the song. At first, I thought it would be difficult for her to find the pocket she needed to lace the lyrics on the recycled beat, but as everyone has seen: SHE KILLED IT!” he exclaims excitedly. “She’s super talented and you can see that in the end result.”

He continues: “Working with lordkez was great. She came in with an open mind and was willing to take on the challenge; that’s an not easy thing to do for most artists. I look forward to finding out who will be joining me in episode 2.
