CAN DO! Partners With Muzi To Tell Unbreakable Story

Coming off the success of our 2019 #UnbreakableStories documentary series, which featured electric rapper YoungstaCPT and trailblazing global artist Busiswa Gqulu, we are proud to announce its third instalment of #UnbreakableStories in partnership with producer, singer-songwriter, and sonic pioneer, Muzi.

Born in Empangeni, KwaZulu Natal, to humble circumstances, Muzi has amassed a core following with his avant-garde re-interpretation of traditional Zulu sounds fused with elements of electronic and pop nuance, which are expressly delivered on his debut project Afrovision (2018) and its genre-defining successor, ZENO (2019).

At 27, his impressive catalogue has already seen him travel Africa, Europe and in 2020, the USA, even making fans of some of the most artistically progressive minds in the world, including Major Lazer’s Diplo, British Grime legend Stormzy, and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

“Overcoming multiple harrowing personal and career adversity at every juncture of his life to become the shining beacon of artistry and independence that he is, Muzi was a natural choice for this series,” says Nampak Bevcan Director of Marketing and Sustainability powerfully, Klaus Hass.

CAN DO! presents Muzi: An Unbreakable Story is set to air exclusively on Channel O later in the year, supported by a live music experience which will celebrate his monumental story.

CAN DO! Partners With Busiswa To Tell Her Unbreakable Story

A beloved and ubiquitous presence in music because of her seamless ability to express the plight of the everyday-girl with positive reinforcement and flamboyance, Busiswa’s fluidity is the mark of an unbreakable force.

Forging trying circumstances into a marquee career that includes countless global anthems, a loyal fanbase, tours, awards, and intentionally existing as a voice for the underrepresented, Busiswa’s story is that of African excellence.

The second instalment of the “Unbreakable Story” series sees CAN DO! (the consumer-facing brand of Nampak Bevcan) partner with Busiswa to tell her story like it has never been told before.

The project will consist of multiple content layers, with the main pillar of content being a 25min documentary that will air exclusively on DSTV’s Channel O, giving fans and the people of South Africa, a closer, more personal and insightful look into the life of a rapidly growing iconic figure in not only our country but across the world.
